Thursday!

We have had a great week and hopefully it does not rain on our Field Trip tomorrow. The kids have really enjoyed learning about weather this month. Josslin found a picture of lightning in a magazine today and called it Lightning, when before she called it Storm. the kids love group time and putting their own pictures in The Playroom Garden. Ashlyn does a great job at picking her picture out and Jackson is starting to read with his finger his name everyday. Today the kids did Butterfly paintings and loved it! Kendyl's face was so amazed and she even gasped when she saw her picture after opening up the paper. Oh and Alyssa went poopy on the potty last night for Mom and Dad!!! Yepppeeee Alyssa!

3rd Week of April

This week was a really fun week in the playroom! We read lots of fun books including cloudy with a chance of meatballs! We had a fun movie day where all the kids wore their pajamas and we watched the movie Cloudy with a chance of Meatballs. All the kids were so adorable in their pj's. We also had lots of fun art projects this week like each kid painted a starry night sky. This week was another fun sun filled week! All the kids seem to love springtime!

2nd Week of April

This past week we did lots of fun spring activities in the playroom. We did lots of art projects that the kids all really enjoyed. On Monday we made cloud art with cotton balls and glue and later on in the week we made suns with construction paper and added them to our clouds. Each day we read a book about spring and sang spring songs that helped the kids learn what happens in spring with the weather. Now that its warm outside we have been spending time outside each day and the kids get really excited to go outside and play. Many times they don't want to come back inside. We will be doing more fun art projects each week and you can now see what our schedule is for each day by reading the new poster that contains the newsletter and agenda for each week!

What a wonderful warm spring day!!!

The kids are enjoying this month new theme 'Weather'. They love dressing up in rain ponchos and having picnics in the Playroom. They really enjoy the weather chart that helps us predict what the weather will be like tomorrow. They love using the new chart "Who is in the Playroom Garden today?". It has a photo of each child on a flower and they can place their photo in the Garden. I will be sure to post photos of it soon.

Today we played in the water table outside and ate Popsicles. The kids had a blast! Here are a few photos!
